Manage approval memory
See which decisions were saved, when they were used and how to stop future use.
Inspect a saved decision
Open Approvals → Memory. Search by requester, connection or tool, then choose Standing grants, Remembered denials or All decisions.
- Saved decision identifies the choice, reviewer and time it was recorded.
- Used shows whether it was applied, the application count, last use and recent applications.
- Availability shows expiry or revocation. A recorded application is an authorization decision; check Audit for the action’s execution outcome.
Choose how future requests match
Open Organization → Governance → Approval memory, or follow Matching settings from Memory. Set whether to remember decisions, the standing-grant and precedent thresholds, grant and denial lifetimes, and whether exact repeated denials are blocked automatically.
Understand the boundary
Standing grants reuse an Allow always decision for the same requester, connection, tool and resource when arguments meet the configured match threshold. Current access, credential and policy checks still apply. Other saved decisions can be shown as precedent without authorizing a request.
Revoke a standing grant
Select Revoke on the saved grant to stop future use. Expiry, policy changes and loss of requester or reviewer eligibility also prevent reuse. Revocation does not undo actions that already ran.
Frequently asked questions
Does Allow once approve similar future requests?
No. It authorizes the exact retry once. A standing grant requires Allow always while memory is on.
