Reconcile connection quantity, tier pricing, and changes during the month.
Inspect the invoice
In Settings → Billing, use Preview monthly invoice to inspect the current amount and quantity. Open the Billing portal for invoices.
- Compare quantity with enabled, verified production installations.
- Check the free allowance and paid tier breakdown.
- Review effective dates for installations enabled or disabled during the period.
- Account for tax and any proration separately from the full-month subtotal.
Troubleshooting
The amount still looks unexpected
Collect the invoice or preview reference, connection quantity, and times of relevant enable or disable changes. Compare these with Billing before contacting support.
Frequently asked questions
Why does an invoice differ from a monthly estimate?
Quantity changes can produce prorations. A full-month estimate does not include the same effective dates, tax, or adjustments as an invoice.
Is the free connection billed when I add payment details?
It has no recurring connection charge. Payment setup is still required before production activation.
Does the invoice show each connection’s activity?
No. It uses organization quantity and tiered subscription pricing. Inspect individual installation state in Connections.
