Enable or disable a connection
Pause or restore routing for an entire installation.
Disable the installation
In the Admin workspace, open the connection, then Connection options → Connection settings. Choose Disable installation. Normal client routing stops while saved configuration and history remain.
Re-enable the installation
Follow the current setup guide before restoring access.
- Check provider authentication, reviewed tools, and team scope.
- Resolve blockers and repeat the required read-only readiness test.
- Inspect and accept a fresh activation preview, including billing for production.
- Verify an intended member’s read and its activity outcome.
Troubleshooting
A client still lists the disabled tools
Refresh discovery and check the installation’s disabled state. A cached tool list does not authorize a new call.
Frequently asked questions
Does disabling delete the connection or its history?
No. This workflow preserves configuration and audit history. It has no connection-deletion control.
Does a disabled connection count toward billing?
It stops contributing enabled quantity going forward. Previously measured transfer and billing events remain.
