How connection pricing works

Understand connection pricing and Enterprise identity features.

What counts

Quantity is the organization’s enabled, verified production installations. People, agents, tools, projects, sessions, and calls do not add connection units. Separate installations count separately even for the same provider.

Free connection

The first qualifying connection has no recurring connection charge. Payment setup is required before activation. Draft, disabled, and synthetic sandbox connections add no billable quantity.

Troubleshooting

My quantity looks wrong

Count enabled, verified production installations in Connections. Exclude drafts, disabled installations, and synthetic sandbox connections. Compare that count with the Billing tier breakdown.

Frequently asked questions

Which package includes SSO and Directory Sync?

Tenant isolation, SSO, and SCIM Directory Sync are included with Enterprise. Standard includes the free connection and paid connection tiers, with local users and groups, policies, approvals, and audit. Contact sales in Billing to arrange Enterprise. Your organization must be assigned the package before identity setup becomes available.

Does the lower tier apply to every connection?

No. It applies to connections after the first four paid connections. It does not retroactively discount earlier paid units.

Do more team members increase the bill?

No. Sharing an installation does not add seat charges. Another enabled production installation changes connection quantity.
